    Since founding LearningYou in 2014,  Marg has been delivering professional development for Australian teachers with a focus on numeracy.    She has conducted many professional development workshops with primary and secondary schools throughout Queensland.  In addition,  Marg has implemented specific numeracy programs for schools and worked hands on with teachers in the classroom to help share, learn and embed professional development through practical peer support engagements.Marg’s passion for mathematics and desire to share its beauty is contagious.  Her previous role as Principal Education Advisor Australian Curriculum for the Department of Education, Queensland enabled her to share this passion as she developed and delivered professional learning for school leaders and teachers.Marg was the mathematics consultant on the highly successful Project U2B (upper two bands) and was responsible for the development of the online lessons, implementation of Polya’s problem solving thinkboard, and identification of the explicit teaching of numeracy strategies.  Marg has written tiered questions for the 20 Questions in 20 Days program and Problem Solving Strategies within edStudios.Marg bridges the primary/secondary gap with her ability to breakdown theoretical knowledge of mathematical concepts and teacher pedagogy and transfer it to practical teaching skills.    Marg holds a Masters in Education and Work,  a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Education.  She has worked across different states education systems in Australia,  Asia and the UK.
